Our Story
A Georgian table, set on Emmons Avenue
Guda began with a simple wish: to cook the food we grew up eating, for people we did not yet know. Georgian cooking is built on hospitality — the belief that a guest arrives as a stranger and leaves as family, and that the table is where that happens.
Our dough is folded by hand each morning. Walnuts are ground fresh, herbs are picked the same day, and the wine comes from clay. Nothing is rushed, because nothing worth sharing ever is.
The room is warm and unfussy — linen, candlelight, and the sound of plates being passed. Come for an hour, stay for three. That is the whole idea.
